Cathedral Park - Pick It Up, Portland!

Pick It Up, Portland! is a citywide day of action dedicated to making our neighborhoods cleaner, healthier, and more welcoming for everyone. On Thursday, August 6, volunteers will come together at five different locations across Portland - each one offering a chance to make a meaningful impact close to home.

This event kicks off at Cathedral Park, where volunteers will spread out through the park and surrounding neighborhood to remove litter and protect this cherished community space. Join us to show your love for Portland and help create cleaner streets, safer parks, and a brighter environment for all who live, work, and play here. Let's take care of the city we call home - together!

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the boat launch parking lot along Bradford St. Look for the SOLVE vehicle!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Bags, vests, gloves, and grabbers.

Restrooms: The park has restrooms nearby.

Parking: There is ample parking available in the lot, although payment is required. There is also free street parking outside of the lot.

Transit: Bus #44, #75, and #16.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
