About this Opportunity
Become a Hospice Volunteer - Provide Comfort, Compassion & Connection.
Are you someone who finds deep meaning in offering comfort and companionship to others? Our hospice program is looking for compassionate individuals to become hospice volunteers - ordinary people making an extraordinary difference in the final chapter of someone’s life.
As a hospice volunteer, you might:
- Visit patients in their homes or long-term care facilities for friendly conversation, companionship, reading, or quiet presence.
- Provide relief for family caregivers with short respite visits.
- Make check-in phone calls to families or bereavement support calls.
- Help in our office with mailings, data entry, etc.
Whether you prefer an in-person connection or behind-the-scenes support, we offer a role that matches your comfort level and interests.
No medical experience required - just a warm heart, good listening skills, and reliability. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.
This is a wonderful opportunity for retirees, veterans, caregivers, or anyone seeking to give back in a deeply human way. Your time and compassion can be a tremendous gift to a patient and their loved ones.
