2025 World Food & Music Festival

Be a part of the World Food & Music Festival Volunteer Team!

We are excited to share the 2025 World Food & Music Festival is coming up on August 22-24 in Western Gateway Park in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).

This three-day event would not be possible without the help of countless volunteers & supporters. The volunteer sign-up for this year's Festival is live and we hope you'll consider being part of the fun! With a variety of jobs to choose from, you can volunteer by yourself or with a group of friends, colleagues or family members. Whatever you choose, there's a spot for you! Important volunteer information:

Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt to wear during their shift(s) and two $2 taste tickets to use for free food at The Festival!Volunteers must be at least 16-years-old when they report for their shift. If you are unable to fulfill your shift, please let us know as soon as possible. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and keep in mind that we will be outside. The event is rain or shine, so it's important that you come prepared for anything!
