Volunteer Communications Support (1-2 Hours/Week)

Adult Literacy Nonprofit – Downtown Pontiac (Hybrid Option)

Looking to make a difference while building or maintaining your professional skills? Join our small but mighty adult literacy nonprofit in Pontiac as a volunteer communications assistant!

We’re seeking a friendly, reliable volunteer who can give just 1–2 hours a week to support our mission. This is a perfect role if you’re:

• Re-entering the workforce and looking to gain recent experience
• Retired but want to stay engaged and use your communications talents
• Someone who simply enjoys helping a great cause with behind-the-scenes support

What you’ll do (with training and support):

• Post occasional updates on social media
• Help acknowledge and thank our wonderful donors
• Assist with light event preparation and communications tasks
