About this Opportunity
The QA Tester will be responsible for meticulously testing our website's functionality before and after launch. This role is critical in identifying bugs, ensuring the reliability of site features, and maintaining an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of website features, including user interface, transactions, forms, and interactive elements.
- Test website performance across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet) and web browsers.
- Validate website functionality against requirements to ensure all elements are working as intended.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and glitches, working closely with the development team for timely resolutions.
- Perform regression testing post-fixes and during website updates.
- Evaluate user experience and suggest improvements.
- Ensure website compliance with industry standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Document testing phases and defects effectively for reference and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand functionality and user needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of web development processes and how to test web applications.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
