Helping paws has eight program areas: Breeding Program & Puppy Acquisition; Foster Home Program; Service Dog Training Program; Applicant & Graduate Program; Volunteer Program; Public Education & Outreach; Pet Dog Training Classes for persons with Disabilities; and Animal Assisted Activities Program.
Mission Statement
Helping Paws Inc, founded in 1988, is a volunteer based nonprofit organization whose mission is to further the independence of individuals with physical disabilities or veterans with PTSD through the use of service dogs.
