United Christian Ministries of Jackson County Inc.

Our mission is to serve Christ by being a voice for and a help to people with urgent physical, economic, social, or spiritual needs so that they might become ‘whole’ persons in body, soul and spirit. We seek to enable individuals in need to move toward relative independence; to serve as a referral source to other agencies and avoid duplication of services; to train and facilitate the helpful involvement of volunteers in community needs; to enhance community understanding and awareness of the needs of those in poverty; and to refer persons to local churches for continuing Christian ministry and support and to serve as a resource to such supportive congregations.
