Mission Statement

The Artistic and Cultural Community of Educators, Shipmates, and Supporters (A.C.C.E.S.S.) is dedicated to fostering artistic, cultural, and maritime heritage by using the arts as an educational tool. We are interested in multi-cultural, mult-dimensional, and innovative forms. We organized in 1994 to produce the Centennial Celebration for the Schooner Ernestina, the Commonwealth's Tall Ship. We have since produced cultural events, a cultural television program (Word That's Heard)broadcast via 11 stations throughout New England, and 18 documentary films. We currently run the AHOY! (art.history.oceans.youth)after-school program educating 5th graders about the maritime community. Please visit www.accessartcorpintl.org for more detailed history of our mission and development.
