At Attorneys with Swag, we believe that legal knowledge is power, and no one should be at a disadvantage simply because they don’t understand the law. Founded in 2019 by public defender Eugene Toussaint, AWS blends media, music, and storytelling to bridge the gap between legal information and the communities that need it most.

We serve low-income communities, immigrants, and marginalized populations across New York City, focusing on issues like housing rights, police encounters, financial literacy, and criminal justice reform. Through our web series, podcasts, music, and live workshops, we demystify the legal system and provide people with practical, real-world legal knowledge they can use to protect themselves and their families.

We are committed to building a physical community hub where we can host live Q&A sessions, educational seminars, and interactive legal workshops, further expanding our reach and deepening our impact. Attorneys with Swag is not just a legal education platform—it’s a movement to empower, educate, and uplift communities through the power of legal literacy.
