About

Mission: To empower, engage and support cancer patients, survivors and their families. We strive to provide comprehensive and quality care, promote early detection, support research, and ensure a patient-centered approach to fight cancer together.

The Berrien County Cancer Service is a unique skilled oncology nursing service that provides the personal one on one care for cancer patients and those with related illnesses in the comfort of their own home. Many of the patients that we serve are currently in treatment and need some extra help. All of our services are at no cost to the patient and we do not receive any reimbursement from insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. We appreciate the generosity of our community who has supported us since 1948.

Mission Statement

In addition to our nursing care services, we have an extensive Resource Locker with medical equipment and supplies including supplemental nutrition drinks for those in cancer treatment, wound management supplies, comfort items, incontinence products as well as many other miscellaneous items. We also have wigs, turbans, scarves and breast prostheses (for those without insurance).

Our services are available to all of those living in Berrien County who havecancer or see the oncologist/hematologist for a related serious illness. There are nocostsfor our services.
