Mission Statement

Children and Youth Services

Breaking Free Children and Youth Services seeks to establish a strong foundation in the gospel for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors in our children and youth. By using creative and innovative methods to excite, inspire, and capture imagination as we ignite their passion for Jesus. Our goal is to enable them to understand and recognize who Jesus is, and what it is to live for Him only. To build in them a strong foundation of faith that will enable them to express and share their faith through their own words, actions and deeds, and to encourage them to use their individual talents in programs and ministries that interest them in order to nurture their growth and of faith. Some of the services BF offers to our youth and children are special events in our communities and churches. We also provide family counseling if the need may arise. We are excited at Breaking Free that the Plano Independent School District has approved Scott and Nicholas to serve our community's high-risk children and teenagers. Currently, PISD has 67 schools, 44 elementary schools, 13 middle schools, 6 high schools, and 3 senior high schools. Breaking Free is committed to the children and youth in our community who need that extra care. If you would like to serve with us in this special ministry, or donate resources please email [email protected]. All volunteers must have a current background check to serve within Breaking Free Children and Youth Services.

Community Care Outreach

Breaking Free Community Care Mission is a Christian outreach program that serves single mothers, their children, and families that are in desperate need. We provide essential necessities such as basic food items, medicine, clothing, and house furnishings.

With 1 out of 5 children in need, this touches us all. Our mission is to demonstrate the Heavenly Fathers love to those in our local communities who find themselves deprived of basic needs. We personally distribute the food, talk to those we serve to build trust relationships and pray for their needs. This helps foster trust and care to those we serve in our community. If you would like to serve with us or donate resources please email [email protected] We welcome you to come serve with us.

Homelessness Solutions and Services

One of our 7 missions is Church Without Walls. CWW helps bring shelter, food, clothing, and awaken Hope with Jesus Love for those who find themselves homeless. We also want to honor the dignity of every person who seeks comfort, support, or assistance through our Church Without Walls. We live out our Mission through our direct contact with the homeless by being on the streets seven days a week feeding, clothing, counseling, and ministering love to those we encounter. We also help find service programs and other volunteer efforts in our community that help meet their wide range of needs. This mission is carried out in the Collin County Texas area, and both Breaking Free Costa Ricas.

If you would like to serve with us in this mission field or donate resources please email [email protected]. We welcome you to come serve with us.

Drug and Alcohol Chemical Dependency Services

Breaking Free Inc.'s alcohol/drug abuse ministry that provides our clients and their loved ones with the ability to overcome the devastating effects of alcohol and drug addiction within the BFI Christian network. We aim to bring forth the best possible opportunity for success and recovery with a Christ-centered approach to recovery. We are committed to bringing the necessary recovery tools and therapy needed to build a Christ-centered life free from chemical addiction.

Even though we work with all ages our specialty is juveniles and 18-24 years of age. Mr. Mormon has extensively worked with the younger ages since 1988 and feels this age is overlooked in many A/D recovery networks as being labeled not ready for help. We specialize in bringing the whole family together in the recovery process for the addicted loved one. We have found when the family works together there is a greatly increased chance for full recovery of the addicted family member. We also have found that in being a source of support for the non-addicted family members that there is much more of a chance that the addicted family member will get the help that they so desperately need. Addiction affects the whole family, and healing needs to include the whole family if at all possible.

Over the years, Mr. Mormon has noticed the financial devastation addiction has on families and has been committed to keeping Breaking Free Inc. services free of charge. BFI does this only by the generosity of the BF ministry partners. If you are struggling with addiction or have an addicted loved one, then please call Mr. Mormon today at 972.890.529
