About

Bristol Hospice, LLC, formed in 2006, is a national provider of hospice services. Our Madison, WI location began serving patients in 2022. We provide hospice care to patients living in Dane and surrounding counties.

We are fully committed to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care are treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and quality of care.

Our Bristol Hospice programs provide hospice services to meet the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our patients and their families/caregivers. An interdisciplinary group of professionals consisting of nurse case managers, physicians, spiritual care coordinators, social workers, bereavement coordinators and volunteer coordinators develop an individualized plan of care for each patient.

YOU CAN BEA HOSPICE VOLUNTEER!

Volunteers are an integralpart of hospice care.Whether its providingcompanionship to aperson in the final monthsand weeks of life, or offeringsupport to their family members and caregivers,the contributions of volunteers are essential tothe hospice team.Bristol Hospice provides the training and supervision to support you in this valuable work.

Every hospice relies on volunteer support to provide excellentend-of-life care to each patient and family. By being a hospicevolunteer, you can gain great personal satisfaction from knowingthat you have made a difference in another persons life.

Some examples of volunteer activities:

  • Providing companionship to a patient and their family
  • Being a comforting and supportive presence
  • Providing caregiver relief
  • Helping withlight housekeeping or meal preparation for the patient and family
  • Bereavement Program support
  • Participating in the We Honor Veterans Program
  • Office support

Bristol Hospice now has a Teen Volunteer Program!If accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also a Bristol Volunteer, the Teen volunteer may visit patients.Teen Volunteers also provideother duties, activities, or special projects (such as create patient memory board/collages) as directed by the Volunteer Coordinator.
