Mission Statement

Wildlife Rehabilitation

The Chattanooga Zoos Wildlife Rehab Department is a licensed rehabilitation facility that maintains permits from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The Wildlife Rehab Department operates from 11:00am to 4:00pm daily.

Conservation Efforts

Conservation and preservation of animals and the natural world are core values of the Zoos mission. The Chattanooga Zoo continues to further its mission by promoting local and global conservation projects. The Zoos conservation programs have one of the broadest reaches in the Chattanooga area, sharing critical conservation messages with more than 200,000 people annually.
