About

The Coalition for the Homeless (CFTH) believes that we can create and sustain a community where homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.

Mission Statement

On any given night, in our three-county area, approximately2,220 people are staying in a homeless shelter, and 1,100 people are sleepingon the streets or another place not meant for human habitation. While the totalnumber of people experiencing homelessness is down more than 60% since 2011, itis still not acceptable.

Solving homelessness isnt easy. It takes many partnersworking together and one agency to coordinate them.

Thats CFTHthe backbone of Houston's solutions tohomelessness. We coordinate over 100 partners to create a collective impact, focusing on data-driven strategies that solve housing barriers and optimizeresources. Collaboration and a focus on housing with supportive services havehelped us house more than 32,000 people since 2012. Your support helps uscontinue this work, driving the evolution of our homeless response system andmaking a lasting difference.
