CommonGood Medical (formerly Hope Clinic of McKinney) exists to share the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with our community to provide quality, compassionate health care and resources to our medically underserved neighbors.

Texas has the highest number of uninsured persons in the United States. The uninsured are up to four times less likely to have a consistent source of health care as those with insurance. Without a medical home, the uninsured often receive health care in the emergency room, the most expensive and least efficient setting possible for primary care. In McKinney,over 18,000 residents are uninsured and over 12,000 live in poverty. This leaves many without affordable access to health care.

As followers of Jesus, we believe that it is our responsibility as the body of Christ to care for those who are suffering. The CommonGood Medical team consists of a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to seeing all persons in our city have access to quality health care.

At CommonGood Medical, we believe in holistic care. Therefore, our volunteer health care providers and staff are passionate about addressing both our patients physical and spiritual needs. The CommonGood team iscommitted to serving our neighbors by providing a means for delivering both health and hope. We invite you to join us in serving our community!

CommonGood Medical is a primary care medical clinic for low-income, uninsured residents of McKinney. CommonGood also provides primary care, acute care, pediatrics, women's health, optometry, dermatology, cardiology, pulmonology, counseling, prescription assistance, specialist referrals, spiritual care, and community resource referrals. CommonGood Medical does not charge a fee for its services. We invite patients to participate in their care by making a donation to help cover the costs associated with patient care; however, no one will ever be denied services based on their inability to pay.
