About

Community Access Line of the Lakeshore, Inc. (CALL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency. CALLs mission is to increase access to community resources through compassionate and effective information and referral services. CALL helps make the critical connection between individuals and families in need and the appropriate community/faith-based organization or government agency. CALL offers 2-1-1 services 24 hours a day...7 days a week for the residents of Muskegon County and several other counties in West Michigan. Individuals may also contact 2-1-1 via email or text or independently search for programs/services using CALLs online resource database.

Mission Statement

CALL links people and services. Every hour of every day, hundreds of people in Western Michigan need essential human services--they are looking for training, employment, food pantries, help for an aging parent, addiction prevention services for their teenage children, affordable housing options, support groups, and ways of becoming part of their community. 2-1-1 is a simple, three digit telephone dialing code that allows the user to make personal contact with a member of CALLs staff who can provide information, answer questions, and help the caller to problem-solve. 2-1-1 allows people to Give Help and Get Help.
