Crowded Closet Thrift Shop

Crowded Closet is a nonprofit thrift shop in Iowa City sharing Gods love through practical service. We support local and global relief, development, and peace projects through Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and local community partners.We sell quality donated itemsclothing, housewares, furniture, books, toys, and moreplus Fair Trade coffee, chocolate, and gifts. Every purchase helps meet basic needs and extend compassion around the world.

Through resale, recycling, and volunteer service, Crowded Closet transforms donated goods into hope for others. Our shop supports global relief and peacebuilding efforts through Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and helps meet local needs right here in our community.We also create meaningful volunteer and job-training opportunities in collaboration with local schools, colleges, churches, and community organizationsmaking Crowded Closet more than a thrift shop, but a community of care and connection.
