About
The English Learning Center is a program of Our Saviour's Community Services, a community-based nonprofit. We provide English (ESL), math, and citizenship classes to adult immigrants and refugees in the Phillips neighborhood of South Minneapolis. The English Learning Center serves hundreds of adult students each year in online and in-person classes. Our volunteer-led classes allow us to maintain small class sizes so students get individual attention.
Mission Statement
We rely on volunteers as teachers and assistants. Over 100 volunteers teach at the the ELC every year. We have both morning and evening opportunities for online and in-person classes.
