Greater Derry Humane Society, Inc.

All foster/all volunteer rescue organization for animals, mainly dogs and cats. The mission of the Greater Derry Humane Society is to promote the humane care and treatment of all animals. Our goal is to reduce the suffering of animals through education, rescue, and support, and to work collaboratively with other organizations. We rely on foster families entirely.

We take in local surrenders, strays from Animal Control, and transports from out of state. We put them into a suitable foster home, make sure they are healthy by vetting them, and then rehoming them to their forever home. We provide all medical costs, as well as all food and supplies. We rely on our foster homes to help us make the best selection of forever home.
