About
Habitat for Humanity of Collin County is a Christian Housing Ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and makes decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat builds new relationships and a sense of community, as well as new housing. Through volunteer labor, management, expertise, and tax-deductible donations of money and material, Habitat builds homes with the help of homeowners.
Homes are sold to "partner families" with non-profit mortgages for a fixed period of time. Habitat for Humanity of Collin County serves McKinney, Frisco, Celina, Princeton, Plano, and Melissa, as well as other small towns in Collin County.
