Haus of Codec

Haus of Codec is an emergency housing service for LGBTQQIA+ individuals 18-24 at risk for and/or experiencing homelessness in Rhode Island. Haus of Codec has three housing programs, an Emergency Shelter, a Transitional Housing Program and Rapid Re Housing Program. Haus of Codec provides its residents with access to 1 free meal per day, free access to talk therapy, access to a clothing and food pantry and provides its clients with quality case management to help them navigate institutionalized social service systems.

Haus of Codec hosts artist marketplaces and resource fairs across the community periodically throughout the year to bring attention to and raise funds for our mission of working towards an end to transition age youth homelessness in Rhode Island. Haus of Codec has a network of over 400 artists, performers and community organizations that share their work and resources at our marketplaces. The events typically run from 10am - 6pm at various locations throughout Providence.

Haus of Codec also hosts its annual fundraising event on Saturday October 4, 2025 the anniversary of the founding of Haus of Codec, to honor our community partners who have supported our mission in a significant and meaningful way the previous year. Our Annual event hosts a silent auction, lots of food, art and music highlighting the best and brightest of our community of artists.
