Houston Humane Society

The Houston Humane Society (HHS) is a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse, and the overpopulation of animals. We receive no federal, state, or local funding and rely solely on donations and volunteers. HHS is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Houston community by providing numerous animal welfare programs for Houston area residents and their pets, including pet adoptions, humane education, cruelty investigations, and our low-cost wellness spay/neuter clinic open 7 days a week.

The Houston Humane Society is dedicated to, and working towards, ending cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals while providing the highest quality of life to those in our care.
