Iowa Voyagers

Provides educational travel opportunities for alumni, friends and students of the University of Iowa. Volunteer service travel is available. The mission of the volunteer service trip is to provide humanitarian assistance while providing a life-enhancing service experience to travelers.

Iowa Voyagers is the education travel enterprise of the University of Iowa Alumni Association. We offer 45-50 trips annually to a wide variety of domestic and international destinations. Volunteer service trips to Ecuador and Romania are sponsored each spring. Volunteers work with disadvantaged children in day-care settings or hospital clinics. Full scholarships are available for four UI students each spring. The scholarships cover accommodations, round-trip airfare from Chicago, most meals, training, and program materials.
