Irockmyscars is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering trauma survivors and transforming scars-both visible and invisible (mental and physical)-into strength, creativity, and purpose. Founded with the belief that every scar tells a story of resilience, we provide programs that promote healing, wellness, and community connection.

Our mission is built on four core pillars:

* Creative Pathways - Art, music, and fashion programs that use creativity as a tool for healing and self-expression.

* Healing & Wellness - Peer groups, trauma-informed retreats, and Rebel Kits filled with care items and resources for survivors.

* Community Support - Housing, food security, and financial literacy programs that help Rebels rebuild with dignity and stability.

* Workforce Development - Training, mentorship, and career pathways that prepare participants for meaningful opportunities.

Since our founding, we have revitalized community spaces, distributed Rebel Kits across Virginia, and partnered with local organizations to expand access to housing, food, and education. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission-teaching classes, mentoring youth, supporting events, or sharing professional skills. By joining us, you’ll help survivors reclaim confidence, hope, and opportunity while strengthening communities.
