About

Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement has been helping students turn their dreams into firm financial reality since 1919. Over the past 100 years, Junior Achievement has reached over 112 million students in the U.S., helping them to become more likely to graduate high school, earn a degree, start a business, and escape poverty.

Junior Achievement of Washington was founded in 1953 and has served over two million students across Washington and Northern Idaho.

Mission Statement

JA of Washington's volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students in our community to dream big and reach their potential.
