Literacy Volunteers of America, Essex and Passaic Counties

The Literacy Volunteers of America, Essex and Passaic Counties (LVA), is a non-profit, volunteer-based educational organization that promotes and fosters increased adult literacy in the New Jersey counties of Essex and Passaic.

We are dedicated to providing literacy instruction for adults, enabling them to attain personal, educational, and career goals.
