About
The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. is celebrating Maine's unique railway history. We operate historic two foot gauge trains and provide educational programs at the Portland waterfront. The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad was established in 1992 to preserve the collection of narrow gauge trains that originally serviced 5 rural areas in Maine. Our trains are run by volunteers along the Portland waterfront.

The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad preserves and operates historic two-foot railroad equipment for the education and enjoyment of the public.
