About
Support the riders of ManeGait and make a meaningful impact!
OUR MISSION: At ManeGait, children and adults with disabilities move beyond their boundaries through the healing power of the horse and the dedication of a professional, caring community.
Founded in 2007, ManeGait has grown into a nationally recognized therapeutic riding center and a hub for community involvement. We provide a place of hope and healing for riders, volunteers, and partners alike. Today, we serve 150 riders each week across five six-week sessions assisted by 30 therapy horses and over 285 volunteers.
Become a volunteer! Our volunteers are the heart of ManeGait, playing a vital role in bringing our mission to life. With your support, we can continue to create lasting, positive change for our riders.

Mission Statement
At ManeGait, we offer therapeutic activities to help children and adults with disabilities and military veterans. ManeGaits riding program consists of weekly private or small group lessons where riders learn to walk, trot, canter, and compete as equestrians. With the backing of a caring and dedicated community, we provide riders with strength, confidence, and hope. Click here to learn more about our programs: manegait.org/programs

- Sidewalker: Sidewalkers work alongside the rider in the arena, maintaining safety awareness, while providing physical and motivational support. A rider may have up to two sidewalkers depending on their needs.
- Barn Buddy: Assisting our stable staff to help in cleaning stalls and the care and feeding of our horses.
