Memphis Brooks Museum of Art--Education Department

We are the Education Department of the Brooks which includes School programs, Family programs, and Adult Education programs.

The Education Department is looking for people interested in long term service opportunities through our docent program. Docents give guided tours for our daily school tours and receive a 4 month training period with education on art history, visual thinking strategies, and childhood development. The Brooks Education Department serves roughly 3500 students per year from Shelby county and all over the Mid-South.
