We perform a wide variety of music including nearly 175 concerts in a typical year, primarily atOrchestra Hallin downtown Minneapolis, our home since 1974. We also tour regularly throughout Minnesota, nationally and abroad.
The Minnesota Orchestras mission is to enrich, inspire and serve our community as an enduring symphony orchestra internationally recognized for its artistic excellence.
The Orchestra is committed to using music to communicate and bridge cultures. We seek to create, develop and nurture connections that allow us to authentically contribute to making the Twin Cities a more equitable community, and we are currently focused with great priority on working todisrupt our own role in systemic racism. Our current work includes a programming focus, a fellowship program, and a series of Anti-Racist Learning Projects. We are committed to recognizing inequities in our organization, industry and community, and to advancing the change that must happen.
