Music For Memories

Our mission is to use music as a tool to improve the aging experience. This is accomplished by implementing choirs within senior living facilities, hence providing an easily accessible and safe way for seniors to belong and participate. Specially adapted music and choir books accommodate the needs of the choir members.Choir members need not have the ability to read music to participate.

The 'senior' choirs have been shown to foster socialization, reduce isolation and encourage an active life-style. Our programs successfully promote a sense of belonging, participation and productivity. Many participants describe choir rehearsals have the highlight of their entire week and they eagerly anticipate coming to sing.
