Oakwood Education Foundation

We are a non-profit organization aiming to bridge the achievement gap and aid underprivileged kids in hope of bringing about equity in the educational systems. We started in July 2020 andhave received501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exempt status with the IRS. We are working extremely hard to gain support for our mission and gain volunteers to help us grow.

We provide free tutoring, summer and college preparation courses, resources, and advocacy for underprivileged students who cannot afford the help they need. We want volunteers to work in different aspects of our organization: tutoring, outreach, media, fundraising, etc.
