One by One Ministries, Supporting Expectant & New Moms: Mentoring & Educating Pregnant and New Moms

One by One Ministries is a faith-based organization. Developed in Texas in the mid-1990's as part of a major family strategy formed by people of faith in San Antonio, Texas.

One by One offers friendship, hope, support, and parent education to new moms through mentoring.

Many moms come to One by One scared, alone, experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, and unsure what to do next. Some moms come to us because they need a friend or someone outside of family to talk to, Whatever her reason, our goal is to provide a lifeline to each mom - to love and support her, providing hope, encouragement, and parent education - from the moment she learns shes pregnant until her baby turns one.

We train volunteers from the faith community to serve as mentors to women who are pregnant or who are brand new moms. We provide each mentor with everything she needs to serve her mom, including lesson plans for every meeting and activities to share with her mom to help her support her babys social, language, emotional, and motor skill development.
