Rise - a Community Service Partnership

Volunteer Are you between the ages of 4 and 84 (more or less?)? Then we want you! Whether you are looking for rewarding ways to spend your retirement days, or are just at the beginning of understanding the value of community service, Rise offers many ways to volunteer. From one to forty hours a week, from the Greater Goods Thrift Store to our Food Pantry, the gift of your time and effort can be tailored to meet your interests and availability. Expect a return on your efforts in the form of a great experience, a few new friends and the overwhelming sense of a job well-done.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways you can volunteer your time:

Greater Goods Thrift Stores – sorting/tagging, display design, advertising & publicity, furniture pickup/delivery, and more

Food Pantry – organize food donation drives; help with pickup/delivery or distribution of food

Special Events & Seasonal Programs – Adopt-a-Family Holiday Gift Program, Holiday Food Drive, Rise-sponsored Holiday party, MLK Sleepy Time Drive, Community Health & Wellness Fair, summer enrichment program and more

General assistance – office and clerical work, grant writing support, social media marketing, and more
