Saint Joseph Parenting Center

We offer a twenty eight class parenting education program in English and Spanish. We use the Active Parenting Program which is an evidence based curriculum. SJPC takes a holistic approach to parent education. About 50% of the classes are traditional parenting topics such as: behavior and discipline (several age specific sections), health and nutrition, and creative play and 50% life skills topics such as: anger management, fiscal and time management, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

SJPC's mission is to strengthen families at risk of child abuse and neglect by providing parent education and community resource support. Our vision is for children to live in a world free of abuse and neglect. Our philosophy is to Educate the Parent, Protect the Child.
