Situated within our drop-in center in the Kisenyi slum, the Shule Poultry Project is an open opportunity for all the boys we serve, providing them with valuable skills, purpose, and hope. They learn about animal husbandry, responsibility, teamwork, and sustainable practices through this endeavor. They experience a sense of belonging and self-worth by actively participating in our chicken project. This project serves a dual purpose. It ensures that the boys in our program receive a consistent source of high-quality protein. Access to fresh eggs and chicken meat improves their nutrition and contributes to their overall well-being. Simultaneously, the project generates income that directly sustains our organization. The revenue generated from selling poultry products is reinvested into our various programs, allowing us to expand our reach, improve our facilities, and continue providing vital support to street-connected boys.

The Shule Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to changing the lives of street-connected boys residing in the Kisenyi slum in Uganda. Our primary objective is to offer hope, education, and opportunities that can lead to a more prosperous future. We work tirelessly to break the cycle of street life for boys under the age of 18 through our rehabilitation, reunification, skills training, and educational programs. Our goal is to prepare these young boys to grow into socially aware, financially independent gentlemen who can positively contribute to their communities and the world at large.
