In addition to its core programs and services, SVdP operates three social enterprises to provide operating revenue while achieving important community benefits. The Social Enterprises division achieves important social goals through its Thrift Store operations and its Auto Donation program. Saving hundreds of thousands of pounds of consumer goods annually from local landfills. Providing transitional employment and skills training to the low-income and socially disadvantaged. Serving communities with low- or no-cost services. The SVdP Retail Division operates two Thrift Stores in Alameda County. The Division also operates the SVdP Auto Donation program, accepting donations of used automobiles.

The mission of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County (SVdP) is to serve the needs of the disadvantaged through direct engagement with individuals and families in our communities, offering a hand up to help people gain stable lives.
