The Beacon Homeless Day Resource Center - Catholic Charities

The Beacon is a Homeless Day Resource Center that provides compassionate, guest-centered services to help people experiencing homelessness in Dane County.

With the help of local community agencies we help strengthen the lives of individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness by providing the care and support needed to help our guests get back on their feet.

The Beacon is open 365 days a year, from 8:00am-5:00pm. Volunteers are a huge part of the day-to-day operations and are essential to The Beacon's success. Here volunteers have the ability to help in our kitchen to prepare and serve both breakfast and lunch meals, wash and dry dirty laundry, and offer showers and hygiene products to guests experiencing homelessness.
