About

The mission of The Sophia Way is to help end homelessness for women in King County by providing shelter, life skills training, social services and supportive permanent housing.

The Sophia Way began in December 2008 to address an almost entirely overlooked population: women experiencing homelessness. Since then we have supported more 4,000 women and housed many.

Mission Statement

TSW's core programs provide a safe place for women during the day, offering a six-month intensive shelter program for twenty one women at night, offering case management to help clients overcome barriers to independence, and providing transitional and non-time limited housing opportunities for women who experience chronic homelessness.
