The Welcome to America Project is in need of volunteers for a variety of service opportunities to help Welcome our newly arrived refugee friends to the valley. We have many opportunities for families, work in the warehouse, and field work. We organize and sort donations, we pack and deliver resources, we repair bikes, and much more! The Welcome to America Project (WTAP), furnishes the apartments of refugees newly resettled by the UN to Phoenix, Arizona from war-torn and oppressed countries worldwide. This mostly volunteer organization collects high quality furniture and household items from donors throughout the Phoenix area, and delivers them free of charge, on Saturdays all year long, to refugee families arriving from numerous countries.
