VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People)

Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP) is abasic needs and social services organization whose programs include access to healthy foods, social services, housing stability, and other supportive services. VEAP takes a holistic approach to program delivery together with its strategic partners to build a strong community.

Our Mission: Together, we create pathways to stronger, more hopeful, communities through access to healthy food, housing stability and supportive services.

VEAP provides access to high quality, healthy, and fresh foods for individuals, families, children, and seniors experiencing hunger or food insecurity. In 2019, we distributed over 4.3 million pounds of food (half of which was produce!) to nearly 135,000 people. Our Social Services team also offers caring, professional support to individuals, families, children, and seniors experiencing food insecurity, high-risk of eviction or homelessness, and financial crisis.
