MudTown Farms Volunteer Days

Volunteer at Mudtown Farms to build sustainable urban farms. 

Why: Our goal here at Mudtown is to build a beautiful sustainable urban farm that will serve our community for years to come. Mudtown is an organic farm in the beginning stages and we have a lot of work to do. With the help of our community and our volunteers our farm will not only feed our community it will help restore our city and the ecosystem that once thrives here. Come check us out and see what we are up to.

Who: Watts Labor Community Action Committee aims to improve the quality of life for the residents of Watts and neighboring communities.

• Ready to work in the sun
• Able to assist in lifting when needed
• Not afraid of getting dirty and bugs
• Have a passion or interest in growing food and plants

• Comfortable and breathable shorts or pants
• Closed toes and heel shoes
• T-shirts or sleeveless shirts (NO tank tops)
• Hats are strongly recommended
• Sunblock
• Refillable water bottle
• Reusable shopping bag
