Support Rider - Summit Challene 2025

Support participants in the Summit Challenge throughout their race!

A support rider is a volunteer who will ride along an adaptive rider who needs some support while on their ride. Adaptive riders may be using different types of cycles including recumbents, handcycles, stand up bikes, and tandem bikes. As a support rider, you are in charge of making sure the adaptive rider knows the route, supporting them when getting in and out of their cycle, basic bike maintenance when needed, and helping with keeping the adaptive rider motivated to finish the race!
