2026 Volunteer Photographer Program

We are in need of photographers and videographers to visit our agencies throughout our Federation of Agencies. This is a great way to build out your professional portfolio and take amazing photos of New Yorkers helping fellow New Yorkers.

Volunteer Responsibilities 

• Take photos and/or videos of agency events or opportunities
• Upload all photos to a link provided following the event
• Remain professional, enthusiastic, and ready to support the needs of the agency with your creative eye!

Qualifications & Requirements

• One year of prior experience at minimum
• Able to travel throughout NYC and work with onsite staff
• Have your own professional equipment to capture quality images. This can include Nikon, Bridge Cameras, video cameras, DSLR's etc. A cell phone camera will not suffice.

Schedule/Commitment:

• Flexible! Events and activities can happen at anytime. We will email you a list of upcoming events for you to choose from.
• Assignments can last anywhere from 1-4 hours
• *Last minute assignments- Occasionally you will receive a notice about a request. If you are able to attend, please respond immediately that you would like to accept the assignment so we may coordinate.
