About this Opportunity

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is hosting a Backpacks Donation Drive for its Peekskill Mobile Crisis Response Team to distribute to individuals who needs supplies or who are homeless. Volunteers are needed to purchase or collect the items from the wishlist below.

Items needed (for safety and hygienic reasons, new items only, please):

  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Bottled water (packs of 24)
  • Bags of chips (variety packs)
  • Antiperspirant or deodorant
  • Low-cut ankle socks (men and women)
  • Rain poncho (adult-size, reusable)
  • Winter scarves (unisex or gender-neutral)
  • Winter beanies (unisex or gender-neutral)
  • Winter gloves (unisex or gender-neutral)
  • Fleece and waterproof jackets
