Mobile Market for a Cause @ Memorial Regional Hospital

Mobile School Pantry (MSP) mission is to provide nutritious, healthy food items to children and families at low-income schools in South Florida.

We are committed to creating a future without hunger where all families have access to adequate amounts of nutritious, culturally appropriate foods to learn, grow and thrive. 

Everyone has the power to make an impact…It all starts with one action:

Become a Hunger Hero by volunteering at Mobile School Pantry’s Mobile Market for a Cause that occurs on our very own retrofitted, air conditioned school bus -- MAX!

This program was developed in order to offer discounted produce to the community in a mobile setting by using our school bus Max.  All proceeds from the sale of produce items go toward our school pantry program, where families shop at no cost at elementary schools in Broward County.

Volunteer, donate and help our (growing) school pantry program. YOU make it all possible!

This opportunity includes helping with activities related to operation of the market on and off the school bus.

• Setup Tent and checkout area
• Refill baskets with produce items 
• Breakdown boxes
• Assist shoppers on and off the bus with their items
• Smile and make shoppers feel welcome 
• Assist at checkout 
• Breakdown tent and cleanup at the end
