ICNA Convention | Baltimore MD | May 2025

Islamic Relief USA is a major sponsor for the ICNA Convention and has a large presence! This means we get to showcase the great work that IRUSA is doing around the world to all the attendees of this convention.

That is why, as always, we will need your help and assistance at our convention booth!

Volunteers are a crucial part of our presence at these conventions. With your support and effort, we would like your help to raise funds and showcase IRUSA projects and causes, specifically for Qurbani and Orphans. We are asking for your help again this year. We are looking for approximately 5 volunteers total per shift to help at the convention booth (depending on the shift).

Location:
The Baltimore Convention Center: 1 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21201

Important to note:
- Meet-up point for volunteers will be sent once opportunity coordinator approves registration
- Friday, May 23rd, the Convention will hold Jummah Prayer iA

Time:

**PLEASE NOTE: Shifts are subject to end early depending on convention circumstances.**

Tasks May Include:
-Booth Set-Up and Break-Down
-Promo Item Distribution/Replenishing
-Donation Solicitation
-Project and Program Information Desk
-Recruit new Blue Shirts with our Volunteer Sign-Up Station

**Meals will be provided during your work shift**

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you or someone you live with is considered high risk, please consider volunteering in person at a later date.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID, please cancel or let your volunteer coordinator know (even if it is the morning of the project).
- If you are unsure of the risk associated with participating in this project, please reach out to our staff!
- Please refer to the CDC for recommendations and guidelines for most up to date information regarding COVID-19.

Do not attend a volunteer project if in the last 14 days you have:
Traveled abroad
Been on a cruise
Interacted with anyone who had or has COVID-19
Had a fever
Have experienced symptoms that could be related to COVID-19
Have had COVID-19
