Kits for a Cause

Kits for a cause is a volunteer project where volunteers fund and assemble kits for clients. Each kit requires funding to cover the cost of supplies, which ranges from $530 to $2,000 per kit set, depending on the type. Volunteers can fund and assemble kits themselves. If you're interested in supporting a kit, the first step is choosing which one you'd like to fund:

• Breastfeeding Starter Kit: $850 provides 10 women with a starter kit that includes manual breast pumps, breast milk storage, breast care supplies, and nursing bras

• Healthy Families- Hygiene Kits: $1400 provides 20 families with a hygiene kit, 12 adults with shaving cream and razors, and 10-12 families with additional multicultural hair care products to care for and style natural hair textures

• Healthy Homes Cleaning Kits: $1400 stocks 20 families’ homes for 6 months

• Newborn Car Kits: The First Two Months $2,000 provides comprehensive essentials for bringing a newborn home to 20 families

• Period Dignity Kits: $530 provides 15 kits or $36/kit

• Postpartum Support Kits: $1,000 creates 10 postpartum recovery kits for new birthing parents

• Sensory Kits: $650 provides 100 children with a sensory kit, complete with 5 sensory toys recommended by our occupational therapy team
