Dorchester - Support the Fresh Truck Mobile Market @ Fields Corner

At Fresh Truck we are on a mission to strengthen communities by getting fresh food to the households that need it most. We work to radically impact community health by celebrating food culture and strengthening communities with the food they need.

Our Fresh Truck mobile markets are a food justice program designed to use re-imagined vehicles to increase access to fresh food in traditionally marginalized communities. By bringing the shopping experience closer to people we can in turn provide more opportunities for households to use SNAP/HIP benefits.

During these weekly mobile markets, Fresh Truck staff and volunteers set up to run a dignified shopping experience for communities to have the option of selecting from a variety of quality fruits and vegetables at affordable prices!

As a volunteer, you will directly support the Fresh Truck Mobile Markets by:

- Greeting & handing out tickets

- Filling and bagging shopper orders

- Helping customers enter and exit the bus

- Restocking shelves, breaking down cardboard boxes

- Helping to maintain all health and safety protocols

MBTA & Parking: 5 minute walk from Fields Corner Train station. 1-9 minute walk from bus routes 201,19 and 17. Street parking is available but limited.
