Brief Description:
The Waunakee Fire Department is partnering with NMDP to host an educational recruitment drive focused on raising awareness about blood cancers and the life-saving impact of joining the NMDP registry.
Community members will have the opportunity to learn about the blood stem cell donation process, gain a clear understanding of what it means to be called as a donor, and join the registry through a quick and simple cheek swab.
This event marks the 4th partnership with the Waunakee community and will focus on continued engagement, strengthening local relationships, and inspiring more individuals—especially those ages 18–35—to take action in the fight against blood cancers.
